He Yining
He Yining is an art historian and curator of photography. After graduation in London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, she started to work as a researcher, writer, and curator specializing in contemporary photographic art in 2010. She principally focused her recent curatorial practices on how photography is able to freely straddle the boundaries of fine art, responding to and raising questions about contemporary and historical social issues through effective, diverse, and interdisciplinary means. Yining's exhibitions have been held in museums, art galleries, and photography festivals in China and Europe. Publications include Photography in the British Classroom, and The Port and the Image, among others.
