Deng Yuanye
Deng Yuanye is an editorial director in Wallpaper* China and youth researcher in architecture and anthropology. She focuses on the shift in material form between cities and rural areas. She has taken part in many urban and rural development projects and curatorial projects. She is one of the curatorial members for China Pavilion at the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale and curator of Home, Sweet Home, winning program of Emerging Curators Project 2017 in Power Station of Art. Yuanye continued her post-doctoral research in Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a Ph. D. candidate of architecture in Tongji University, joint training Ph. D. student in Massachusetts Institute of Technology and visiting research of GSAPP in University of Columbia.
