Andrew Ruff
Andrew Ruff is an influential collector of Chinese contemporary art in Shanghai. He and his wife, Lingling Zou founded the non-profit exhibition space 166 Art Space in 2017. It was initially designed to highlight aspects of a collection of Chinese contemporary art that began some 20 years ago. The collection, now comprising more than 100 works, focuses on the careful selection of artists and the acquisition of their works over their progressions and careers. 166 Art Space provides a platform for young artists to exchange and learn. 166 Space has successfully held many exhibitions, such as “Shanghai Black and White”, “The Blues”, “Into the Great Wide Open”, “Zeng Fanzhi”, “Gorels! "and other exhibitions.
