Children White Cube
6th October, 2018 SHMOG
“White cube” is a term used for describing a standard form for art space. Within a pure, clean and undisturbed space, “Children’s White Cube” program allows children to freely express their creativity and imagination. Starting from scratch, we strive to make White Cube a platform for children to make their own art space.

Viktor Lowenfeld once said, ‘The purpose of the motivation and of the art activity itself was not to let children remain at whatever level they may be …. But to guide them from one stage of artistic development to the next.’ Art education employs “art” as a tool for children to freely express themselves. Thus, it can enable children’s sensitivity to the world, further develop their primary creativity.

Under the guidance of art facilitators, “white cube” program encourages children to explore their talent through discussion, thinking and collaboration. As a result, children are able to create their own art world in an immersive environment and enjoy the memorable creation process.
This program is designed to guide children to create art pieces freely, more importantly to protect children’s “primary” creativity and to develop their ability to think independently. Ultimately, the children's works will be displayed in the online gallery. We will provide children with the opportunity to communicate with each other in the world of their peers and understand this diverse world through the collision of different perspectives.
